# Dataset Description

In this homework we use the data from Kaggle's [Huge Stock Market Dataset](https://www.kaggle.com/borismarjanovic/price-volume-data-for-all-us-stocks-etfs). The dataset includes the historic data of all stocks and ETFs in the US market up to 2017. However, the data do not include index data. But you can easily download index data from [Yahoo! Finance](https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/%5EIXIC/history?period1=34560000&period2=1639008000&interval=1d&filter=history&frequency=1d&includeAdjustedClose=true).  You are free to add new stock data to your training set by crawling or downloading latest data from the Internet.  

The example historic data of NASDAQ is shown below (^IXIC.csv), which includes the open, high, low, close price and the volume.
