# ECE597/697 Fashion MNIST Classifier — Data

Some things to keep in mind:

Know how to load the data. The label column indicates the label for each image
Each row in test and train combined is a unique image with a unique ID
Use the train.csv to generate your models and validation.csv for testing
Use the test to generate your submission.csv file
The labels of test.csv are hidden from you all. The goal is to generate a submission.csv that is like sample.csv but with correct labels

## Files

*   **train.csv** - the training set
*   **test.csv** - the test set
*   **sample_submission.csv** - a sample submission file in the correct format
*   **metaData.csv** - supplemental information about the data

## Columns

*   `example_id` - definition of example_id
*   `feature_1` - definition of feature_1
*   etc.
