"content": "
Hello there! To start with, this competition is pretty unique and interesting. It would push each one of us to research thoroughly. I genuinely liked it.
\n
I have a question though.
\nAfter going through the description, I couldn't find any mention of a specific word limit for the essay. It's possible that this information was not provided or I might have overlooked. I would greatly appreciate it if you could kindly confirm whether there is a word limit for the essay. And if not, could you please tell what would be considered an appropriate length for the essay in terms of page-length. Thank you! :)
",

      "content": "
Yes, that is correct, there is not a strict word limit (although the evaluation rubric does encourage you to be \"concise\"). Recently a similar competition had a 2000 word limit, which seems consistent with common recommendations from journals. I think much shorter essays could also score very well against our evaluation rubric, though. This is a bit open-ended.
\n
(For future reference, there is a pinned Question & Answer thread where you should find the fastest response times for questions directed to the Kaggle Team.)
\n
Best of luck, it would be really great if you end up submitting an essay!
",
