  "content": "<p>I realize this question has been asked numerous times, but can someone point me to a clearer explanation on what programs can and cannot be used? I have visited the open source website but I think many others would benefit from an explanation by someone who can obviously read better than myself!</p>\n\n<p>For example, can SAS be used in this competition?</p>\n\n<p>Thanks for entertaining my obviously repetitive and stupid question.</p>",

I guess I have nothing to worry about then. Best of luck to you on your final submissions. It's been an interesting competition so far and I look forward to the final submissions by folks who have not submitted their best models yet. That's going to be very interesting, I can only imagine.</p>",

      "content": "<p>I am no admin, however <strong>I don't think</strong> using SAS is a problem, because I've seen similar answers before . It is the CODE that you need to make publicly available (e.g. your SAS script) . I think some of the first guys in Wallmart competition used SAS as well. So SAS or MATLAB should be fine. &nbsp;</p>",
