"content": "
Firstly, Thank you so much for this competition. I Really really enjoyed this one, the hour and sleepless nights spent on it was worth it, the discord chat was always there to make this competition fun.
\n
It was last year when i got to know about this AI security field, i had no idea about it, but the last year competition introduced me to it, and since then i have been interested in it.
\n
This year it was back, and i gave my best, it was a fun joyful ride for me while still learning about so many new things on the way. i am really looking forward for the next one.
\n
My Solution Notebook
\n
Below are my solutions for the problems i was able to solve, and somewhat of an approach on how i reached to that conclusion :-
\n
Cluster - Level 1
\n
for all the labeled features in the provided dataset, i isolated a single subpopulation from that feature at a time, and queried their index with the API. you will know when you are on the right feature when the API return's 0 as the result, Which was occupation here, and only Tech support in it gave me a non zero result. still it was not equal to 1 😔.
\n
Later, i tried the same for numerical features, created subpopulation based on whether value is greater than or not, and found age to be the desired feature there, and after some trials got the flag.
\n
hence, the subpopulation with Tech support as there occupation and having a age less than 40, where being systematically misclassified.
\n
Cluster - Level 2
\n
made the T-SNE plot, Simply.
\n
Cluster - Level 3
\n
I performed hierarchical clustering so as to get the characters in the specific order, also setting hte parameter optimal_ordering in scipy ensures they are arranged in the most specific way.
\n
later, i obtained the reordered alphabets, and they were still a little messed 😅, but was readable in some way. you can still get the necessary information out of them.
\n
Count Mnist
\n
Okay 🙂, this one took me 10 days to solve, made me quite frustrated at moments, but was done.
\n
the answer is just the concatenation of the value of the pixel (0 to 255) and the count of that pixel in the whole dataset (train + test).
\n
Count Cifar
\n
😔
\n
Granny - Level 1
\n
Performed the PGD attack on the MobileNetV2 by matching the model offline using pytorch, Link for model. Here, IMAGENET1K_V2 weights were used with the preprocessing as it is.
\n
Granny - Level 2
\n
Again, the PGD attack is performed on the same model, and still it was able to get misclassified.
\n
Granny -Level 3
\n
😔
\n
Passphrase
\n
I brute forced with a huge vocabulary, replacing the first two words with the same word from the vocabulary ( why? because \"word\" and \" word\" are treated as different token's by tokenizer ). My main target was to find a sentence which has different score on both the model (the API and huggingface one), but ended up directly with the flag.
\nThe Passphrase i got was \"panlogism panlogism is the best!\".
\nLink for my Bruteforce code
\n
Pixelated
\n
The OCR here uses an XML query to send the data somewhere. I Really really enjoyed this one, the hour and sleepless nights spent on it was worth it, the discord chat was always there to make this competition fun. \n\nIt was last year when i got to know about this AI security field, i had no idea about it, but the last year competition introduced me to it, and since then i have been interested in it. \n\nThis year it was back, and i gave my best, it was a fun joyful ride for me while still learning about so many new things on the way. i am really looking forward for the next one.\n\n[My Solution Notebook](https://www.kaggle.com/icees8/icees8-aivctf-solutions)\n\nBelow are my solutions for the problems i was able to solve, and somewhat of an approach on how i reached to that conclusion :-\n\n## Cluster - Level 1\nfor all the labeled features in the provided dataset, i isolated a single subpopulation from that feature at a time, and queried their index with the API. you will know when you are on the right feature when the API return's 0 as the result, Which was occupation here, and only Tech support in it gave me a non zero result. still it was not equal to 1 😔.\n\nLater, i tried the same for numerical features, created subpopulation based on whether value is greater than or not, and found age to be the desired feature there, and after some trials got the flag. \n\nhence, the subpopulation with **Tech support as there occupation** and having a **age less than 40**, where being systematically misclassified.\n\n## Cluster - Level 2\nmade the T-SNE plot, Simply.\n\n## Cluster - Level 3\nI performed hierarchical clustering so as to get the characters in the specific order, also setting hte parameter optimal_ordering in scipy ensures they are arranged in the most specific way.\n\nlater, i obtained the reordered alphabets, and they were still a little messed 😅, but was readable in some way. you can still get the necessary information out of them.\n\n## Count Mnist\nOkay 🙂, this one took me 10 days to solve, made me quite frustrated at moments, but was done.\n\nthe answer is just the concatenation of the value of the pixel (0 to 255) and the count of that pixel in the whole dataset (train + test).\n\n## Count Cifar\n😔\n\n## Granny - Level 1\nPerformed the PGD attack on the MobileNetV2 by matching the model offline using pytorch, [Link for model](https://pytorch.org/vision/main/models/generated/torchvision.models.mobilenet_v2.html#torchvision.models.mobilenet_v2). Here, IMAGENET1K_V2 weights were used with the preprocessing as it is.\n\n## Granny - Level 2\nAgain, the PGD attack is performed on the same model, and still it was able to get misclassified.\n\n## Granny -Level 3\n😔\n\n## Passphrase\nI brute forced with a huge vocabulary, replacing the first two words with the same word from the vocabulary ( why? because \"word\" and \" word\" are treated as different token's by tokenizer ).
