"1913520": "In discord, there was the following chat, in which \"moo\" gave a hint...\n\n> **sirjunglefowl:** Oh sorry, one last one (for the time being, this CTF has consumed my life). I'm assuming since it's an ML competition the secret sloth won't be using things like LSB, binwalk, exiftool, etc? I have already used these tools but I'm figuring it'd have something more to do with a certain machine learning technique (I've got a few candidates that I've tried out to no avail).\n\n> **moo:** You’re in the right place. Not necessarily machine learning, but **in that general direction of linear algebra, signal processing, etc.**\n\n---\n\n> **RoblksCube:** I also thought I saw what was happening in sloth over a week ago, and still haven't figured it out after many days of attempts. I hope you have better luck than I have! Would love at least a point in the direction I should be looking. I feel like there are too many potential paths to take but the solution must be relatively simple since some people in the top 10 solved it in the first few days. I'm at the point where I'm reading papers on advanced Steganography and trying to implement them... :/\n\n> **ChrisA:** I think **moo's previous hint of \"linear algebra, signal processing, etc.\" was a great hint**... 🤔 though I totally get what you're feeling - I'm in the same boat for crop2 now!",
"1910120": "as @golubev said, I think its either you have it or not ! I tried \"I think\" most of the algorithms that I can think off, even tried what ever I fount online for extracting information of images , anything I found about \"Steganography\" I tried .... I even imagined some elements in the image as something else and tried but nthn so far :( ! there must be something missing, And why the image folder name is secret.sloth not like other folders I don't know ... \nThis and WAF are the two problems that I totally don't understand what to do next ...\n",
"1910490": "You’re all correct. It’s a bit of “you either know it or you don’t.” So if the techniques you’ve been trying aren’t working, try changing your perspective. ",
"1910080": "It looks like this task is some kind of trick in a specific area, you either know the answer or you don't. Since popular algorithms give nothing. And if you already dig into something complicated, then you can generally encrypt the message of the flag so that you will not receive an answer in 1000 years. For me, even crop2 has a more understandable description than secret sloth.",
