# Applications of GenAI (WUSTL, Fall 2024) — Data

The entire dataset consists of tabular, text, and images for 1,200 fictional homes. These homes come in variety of property types, ranging from single-family, multi-family, apartment buildings and sky-rise penthouses. Each single-family and multi-family is a unique building, but multiple condo units can belong to the same apartment or sky-rise building. Below is a detailed description of the database.

## Files

*   **df-train_1000x12.csv** - training data consisting of 10 default features and their home values
*   **df-test_200x11.csv** - testing data consisting of 10 default features
*   **SimReports/Home-*.txt** - inspection reports for all 1200 Homes
*   **SimPictures/Home-*.png** - street-level images for all 1200 Homes
*   **sample_submission.csv** - a sample submission file in the correct format

## Columns

*   `homeid` - Unique 5-digit home identifier
*   `feat_yrbuilt` - Year the home was built
*   `feat_nrooms` - Number of total rooms
*   `feat_nbed` - Number of bedrooms
*   `feat_nbath` - Number of bathrooms
*   `feat_sqft` - Squared footage of the entire home
*   `feat_proptype` - Whether the home is a single-family, multi-family, or condo
*   `feat_basement` - Whether the home has a basement
*   `feat_stories` - Whether the home has a single or multiple floors 
*   `feat_solar` - Whether the home has solar panels
*   `feat_nsales` - Number of times sold in the past decade
*   `target_homevalue` - Home values (rounded to the nearest dollar)
