📜 Competition Rules These competition-specific rules supplement Kaggle’s Foundational Rules . In case of any conflict or inconsistency, Kaggle’s Foundational Rules will apply. 1. Eligibility You must have a registered Kaggle account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. Residents of countries or regions subject to U.S. sanctions (e.g., Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Crimea, Donetsk People’s Republic, Luhansk People’s Republic, Syria) are not eligible to participate. If you are entering as part of an organization (e.g., university or company), you confirm that you have permission from your institution or employer. 2. Competition Period The competition runs from the Start Date listed on the competition page until the Final Submission Deadline. Any changes to the timeline will be announced on the competition page. Submissions received after the deadline will not be scored. 3. Data Rules You may only use the competition dataset provided (train.csv, test.csv) to develop your model. Use of additional external data is not allowed unless explicitly permitted on the competition forums. Hand-labeling or manual annotation of the test set is strictly prohibited. 4. Submissions You must submit predictions in the required format (submission.csv). Each participant may submit up to the maximum number of submissions per day as specified on the competition page. Only your selected Final Submission before the deadline will count toward the Private Leaderboard and final ranking. 5. Teams You may participate individually or as part of a team. Each participant can only belong to one team. Teams may merge before the deadline, provided the merged team does not exceed the maximum team size. Private sharing of code or data between teams is not permitted. Public sharing on the competition forum is allowed. 6. Evaluation Submissions will be evaluated using the Macro F1-Score across all categories. The leaderboard is split: Public Leaderboard – based on 20% of the test set. Private Leaderboard – based on the remaining 80% of the test set (used for final ranking). 7. Winner Determination Winners are determined by their rank on the Private Leaderboard at the end of the competition. In case of a tie, the earliest submission with the top score will win. 8. Prizes [If applicable: describe the prizes here. For example: certificates, medals, or monetary awards]. If no prizes are offered, participants compete for Kaggle points, medals, and recognition. 9. Code Requirements Winners (and potentially top participants) may be required to submit their code, documentation, and trained models for verification. The submitted solution must reproduce the leaderboard score within a reasonable tolerance. 10. General Conditions By participating, you agree to Kaggle’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy . The Competition Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify participants who engage in cheating, unfair practices, or violation of rules.
