We submitted our last submission around 23:40, that's 20 minutes before the deadline, but the scoring of this submission finished around 00:10 (it took 30 minutes instead of 3 minutes normally), which made it impossible for us to choose this one for final submission. (This is my first time participating in a competition, we weren't aware that after the competition ended we can't even choose the one we submitted before deadline)
\n\nWe were intended to select this file as one of our final submission because this submission used the combination of all our decent models and we were almost sure that it's the best model we have. We were planed to submit this one earlier but there was some error in model training so this was delayed a little bit that night. But still, we got to submit it 20 minutes before the deadline, which we thought largely enough for scoring and then selection. But no matter when we will always select this submission, as soon as we are allowed to select.
\n\nWe did choose another submission (based on LB score) and the second chance was left for this one so that's never used. I think Kaggle must give us at least the right to pick up this one because it was submit in time, I'm so disappointed just because the long scoring time make us lose one gold.
