You are going to develop a model to predict how much an alumnus has donated to UT as of 2019. The hope is that the patterns the model discovers will generalize into the future. In other words, we can input what we know about the alumnus up through 2021 to come up with a good guess as to what they have donated to UT so far.  This could help gauge and predict the lifetime value of graduates.
