Evaluating the pertinence of a picture is essential in the maintenance of this kind of platform with UGC (user-generated content) , there is a few applications:
- Recommendation: highlight new content without having interactions to determine his quality (cold start)
- Support: provide immediate feedback during the upload (help on selection of submissions of images)

The goal of this competition will be to predict the interest score of a picture based on the image only as an input for the prediction. The interest is a score built based on the views, downloads, and picture age, ranging between 0 (low interest) and 100 (high interest), representing if the picture is attractive since its upload.

The [Pawpularity competition of Petfinder ](https://www.kaggle.com/c/petfinder-pawpularity-score)inspired this competition; the information related to the image is limited to avoid potential cheating, and the dimension of the image was reduced by four to facilitate the manipulation of the images.
