  "content": "<p>ISMB 2024 will take place in Montreal, Canada this year, July 12-15. This is the premier intgernational meeting of computational biology, and we are organizing a protein function prediction meeting in it, also called the Function COSI (Community of Special Interest). We have been doing this since 2005, and CAFA was born from this meeting. The Function COSI itself will take place in ISMB July 13-14.</p>\n<p>We invite CAFA5- Kaggle participants to submit abstracts to the meeting, as posters or for 20-minute talks. We would love to meet you in person, discuss your science, and have fun in Montreal. ISMB comprises many different communities, including the Machine Learning COSI, which will also be of interest to folks here.
