I felt the same way a few times due to intentional or unintentional leaks and last minute stunts like in the Talking Data competition but I stayed on. My reason is simple. Kaggle is a good place to practice, stay on the cutting edge of the AI revolution, and sharpen your skills. I prioritized learning a whole lot more over medals after those experiences. So focus on what you would like to get out of your time here at Kaggle and decide accordingly.</p>\n\n<p>Good luck and happy kaggling!!!</p>",

There should be some time when you can work on your own without the need to check public kernels if somebody did not publish something groundbreaking what you need to implement in your own model to have a chance to win.
