Wonder why is the case though. I mean what steps in the evaluation are causing such so much of delay; could be the size of the dataset. The learning for me is to invest in stronger evaluations locally in my notebooks given a decently large training dataset. That way, only ideas that are valueable would be submitted to the competition for evaluation on the test datasets.
