"content": "The goal of this competition is to recreate John Snow's analysis of cholera deaths, using modern GIS tools.\n\nMore specifically, the goal is to **count all reported cholera deaths, within 50 m of a water pump**. In this way, we will be able to identify which water pumps pose a danger to public health.\n\nUse the available datasets on the \"data\" section and [this](https://www.kaggle.com/code/doublebyte/notebook36326c9ed6) notebook, to get started.\n\nUse the *sample.csv* file, as template for submission in the correct format.\n\n\n\n## References\n\nV. "name": "Evaluation",
"content": "The evaluation pages describes how submissions will be scored and how you should format your submission.\n\n---\n\n## Submission Format\n\nThe submission file should be a [\"csv\" file](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comma-separated_values) with exactly two columns: one called \"Id_2\" and another one called \"Count\". \"Id_2\" contains the pump ID, from 1 to 8 (in this order). \"Count\" contains the number of reported cholera deaths within 50 m of the pump. They are calculated by intersecting the buffer layer, with the reported cholera deaths layer. If a particular buffer does not contain any deaths within it, you should assign 0 to \"Count\". The file should have exactly 8 rows: the number of pumps!\n\n## Submission Scoring\n\nThe submission will be scored, by counting the number of correct answers (correctly guessed counts), against the total. In the data section, you may find an example of a submission file with the correct format: \"sample.csv\".\n\nGood luck! (:",
