# Dataset Description

<p>Headlines and categories for 400k news items scraped from the web in 2014. Columns are:</p>
<h2>File descriptions</h2>
<ul>
<li><strong>train_data.csv</strong> - the training set</li>
<li><strong>test.csv</strong> - the test set</li>
<li><strong>baseline.csv</strong> - sample submission </li>
</ul>
<h2>Data fields</h2>
<ul>
<li><strong>ID</strong> - an anonymous id unique to a given article</li>
<li><strong>TITLE</strong> - the title of an article</li>
<li><strong>CATEGORY</strong> - the category of the news item; one of: -- b : business -- t : science and technology -- e : entertainment -- m : health </li>
</ul>
