For the data in this competition, we use the surveillance camera footage collect from 
the Traffic Monitoring System (TMS) of open data provided by KOREA INSTITUTE of CIVIL ENGINEERING and BUILDING TECHNOLOGY.

This data is for the AI Training data set for developing the vehicle object recognition for 2D object detection 

This data collected from the video image of the Annual Survey on the Classification of Vehicle Types on General National Roads 2019 to 2021 (2019-2021 일반국도 수시차종분류조사), To protect the privacy, we blur-out the all the personal face and number plate.

The image we provide total 5,585 AI image datasets and it split the data into train and test image into 8:2. (Train: 4,462 / Test: 1,123)
Participants will be ranked by how accurate to counting the traffic volume by identifying on-road vehicles in the image, and classifying 12 types according to the classification criteria of the Korea Institute of Construction Technology.

 이 대회에서 사용될 데이터는 한국건설기술연구원에서 제공하고 있는 공공데이터를 교통량정보제공시스템 (TMS, Traffic Monitoring System)에서 수집한 CCTV 영상에서 추출된 이미지입니다.

 해당 데이터는 2019~2020년 ‘일반국도 수시차종분류조사’ 동영상 자료에서 수집된 데이터입니다.
 개인정보 보호를 위해 이미지 내 사람의 얼굴과 차량의 번호판은 비식별화 (모자이크 처리) 되어있어 차량 객체 인식을 위한 2D 객체 인식(Object Detection) 기술 개발에 필요한 AI 학습용 데이터셋으로 활용하고 있습니다.

이 대회에서 제공하는 데이터는 총 5,585장의 이미지 데이터셋이며, 5,585장을 8:2의 비율로 나누어 train 이미지와 어노테이션 각 4,462장과 test 1,123장으로 분류하여 제공합니다.

참가자는 제공되는 이미지를 활용하여 한국건설기술연구원의 분류 기준에 따라 12개 차종별 교통량이 얼마나 정확하게 측정되었는지에 따라 모델을 평가하여 참가자의 순위를 결정합니다.
