I've started my data science journey few days back.</p>\n\n<p>I observed that, some of the results in the competition (including this one) are being evaluated with a formula having logarithms. Can you please help me understand why are we using logarithm to evaluate the values? Why not directly evaluate the results? Will be glad to go through any best reference material online to understand in depth.</p>\n\n<p>Thanks in advance.</p>",
