  "content": "<p>Hi <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/ryanholbrook\" target=\"_blank\">@ryanholbrook</a> <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/addisonhoward\" target=\"_blank\">@addisonhoward</a> I had a question regarding submissions. There was an update to environment because of which garbled text was being produced. We fixed it by using a different transformer version. We want to select a submission which we had run 8 days ago. So the question being will the notebooks be run again because now it will produce garbled text. Will it use the environment that was available on that particular day. Thanks</p>",

I've come to the conclusion that <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/hongan\" target=\"_blank\">@hongan</a> is correct and the hidden scores are already there, waiting to be revealed at the end of the competition. </p>\n<p>That seems like the logical conclusion based on the LB page (Private tab):</p>\n<blockquote>\n  <p>The Private Leaderboard isn't available yet.\n  The final ranks and medals will display here after the competition closes.</p>\n</blockquote>",

I guess if it turns out there is a problem with the test set they might need to rerun the notebooks but it's not something that happens usually. </p>\n<p>As a general practice though you should pin your submission notebooks to an environment.</p>",
