"content": "
Hey everyone,
\n
Firstly thank you everyone for the cool competition, I had so much fun!
\n
I am fairly new to Kaggle and this is my first time seeing a competition do the private LB scoring. My final submission, a few hours before the deadline, is actually my best score - 40.2. The notebook completed running after the deadline so I couldn't select it as a submission choice. I only had one submission selected as my submission choice (40.1 on private LB). I left the other one available thinking if my final submissions did better, Kaggle would auto select the highest score. It now says: Succeeded (after deadline) - even though it was submitted before the deadline, and I cannot select it as a submission. How does this work usually in terms of notebooks being submitted before the deadline but not having completed running and also the submission selection?
\n
It's not the end of the world since it might only be the difference between 8th or 9th place and might not even make a difference depending on the hidden decimals. I just would like to understand how it works
\n
Thank you :)
",
