      "content": "# Rules and Regulations: Shopee-IET Machine Learning Competition\n\n**One account per participant**\n\nYou cannot sign up to Kaggle from multiple accounts and therefore you cannot submit from multiple accounts.\n\n**No sharing outside teams**\n\nPrivately sharing code or data outside of teams is not permitted. However, you need to and should only share code on the forums after the end of the competition.\n\n**No hand labeling data**\n\nYou are not allowed to hand label the test data provided to you. Shopee and IET-NTU on Campus stand the right to test your model built to verify the authenticity of your submission. Shopee and IET-NTU on Campus stand the right to revoke your ranking if hand labelling is detected in any submission of your team. \n\n**Team Mergers**\n\nTeam mergers are not allowed.\n\n**Team Limits**\n\nThe team size is 3-4 participants per team.\n\n**Submission Limits**\n\nYou may submit a maximum of 5 entries per day.\n\nYou can only select 1 final submission for judging.\n\n**Competition Timeline**\n\nStart Date: March 11, 2018\n\nEntry Deadline: March 29, 2018\n\n## COMPETITION-SPECIFIC TERMS\n\n1. WINNER LICENSE TYPE: Open Source\n\n5. EXTERNAL DATA: Usage of publicly, freely available external data is permitted. \n\n6. Competitions are open only to registered participants from NTU, NUS ,and SUTD.\n\n**ENTRY IN THIS COMPETITION CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL COMPETITION RULES.**\n\nThe Competition named above is a skills-based competition to promote and further the field of data science. You must register via the Competition Website to enter. Your competition submissions (“Submissions”) must conform to the requirements set forth on the Competition Website. Your Submissions will be scored based on the evaluation metric described on the Competition Website. See below for the complete Competition Rules.\n\n## COMPETITION RULES\n\nYou understand and agree to these Specific Competition Rules required by the Competition Sponsor:\n\n### 1. SHOPEE DATA USE:**\n\nYou agree that use of, and access to, the Shopee data provided for this Competition is provided for the limited purpose of, and in connection with, your participation in the Competition.\n\nYou will not: (a) use or access the Shopee Data for any commercial, gambling, or illegal purpose; (b) copy, modify, reproduce, license, sublicense, distribute, transmit, republish, exhibit, or display the Shopee Data (except to the extent copying, modifying, reproducing or displaying is necessary and directly related to your participation in the Competition); (c) remove, obscure, or modify any copyright notices or other notices, designations, or attributions within the Shopee Data; or (d) use any Shopee Marks or any copyright or other proprietary rights associated with the Shopee Data for any purpose without the express written consent of Shopee “Shopee Marks” means all names, trademarks, logos, symbols, designations, emblems, designs, and trade dress of the Shopee, together with all identifications, labels, insignia or indicia thereof.\n\n**B. DETERMINING WINNERS:**\n\nEach Submission will be scored and ranked by the evaluation metric set forth on the Competition Website. During the Competition, the current ranking will be visible on the Competition Website’s leaderboard. The potential winner(s) are determined solely by the leaderboard ranking on the private leaderboard as set forth on the Competition Website, subject to compliance with these Rules.\n\nIn the event of a tie, the Submission that was entered first to the Competition will be the winner. \n\n\n\n",
