This dataset contains synthetic records of children under 2 years old in Ecuador.  
It is designed to resemble real-world public health data, including demographic, anthropometric, and socioeconomic features.

### Features
- `edad_meses` → Age of the child in months (can include some inconsistencies)
- `sexo` → Sex of the child (`M` or `F`)
- `region` → Region in Ecuador (`Costa`, `Sierra`, `Amazonía`, `Insular`)
- `nivel_educacion_madre` → Mother's education level (`Sin escolaridad`, `Primaria`, `Secundaria`, `Superior`)
- `peso_kg` → Weight of the child in kilograms (includes outliers and missing values)
- `talla_cm` → Height of the child in centimeters (includes outliers and missing values)
- `alerta_desnutricion` → Target variable (1 if at risk of malnutrition, 0 otherwise)
