# Dataset Description

#Summary of data
The Electric Transmission Imagery data contains drone-collected images collected during a electric utility inspection.  Here is a summary of each dataset and a list of key variables with descriptions.

xmin --> minimum value of x coordinate of bounding box

ymin --> minimum value of y coordinate of bounding box

width--> width of bounding box

height--> height of bounding box

#File descriptions
`README_train.txt` provides a summary of the GTstring format.  
`train.csv` contains a list of 8038 image file names (ImageID) and bounding box annotations (GTstring) for each image.

`test.csv` contains a list of 3445 image file names (ImageID) to be used for model testing.

`README_submission.txt` provides a summary of the submission syntax.<br>
`submission_sample.csv` provides an example format for the submission syntax.

*This competition does not accept any predictions on conductor or shield wire classes (polylines).  However, EPRI believes there is value in sharing the data and may run a competition on this task in the future.*<br>
`README_train_polyline.txt` provides a summary of the GTstring format.<br>
`train_polyline.csv` contains a list of 6683 unique file names (ImageID)  and polyline annotations (GTstring) for each image

#Imagery
The Transmission H-frame Dataset 1.0 dataset contains 12,158 drone collected images of one transmission structure type, an "H-frame" structure type. 11,483 have been labeled and split 8,038 for public training and 3,445 for withheld testing.
