"content": "
This is about Merchants table
\n\n
\n\n
As per Data Dictionary:\navg_sales_lag3\n= Monthly average of revenue in last 3 months divided by revenue in last active month\navg_sales_lag6\n=Monthly average of revenue in last 6 months divided by revenue in last active month\nJust to check on a theoretical example:\nIf a merchant had sales of $50, $100,$150,$200,$250 &$300 respectively over the last six months ($300 latest) then average sales lag3 is $250( $750/3) divided by $300 = 0.83\nSimilar way calculations for average sales lag6 months( $1050/6) /$300= 0.58
\n\n
This means if \n Merchants['Diff_ASL_3_6']=Merchants['avg_sales_lag3']-Merchants['avg_sales_lag6']\nis a positive value it indicates + sales growth for given merchant. This is a positive indiccator.\nAnyone has done this analysis? Any thoughts?
",
