On July 16, 1945 the first atomic bomb was exploded in the New Mexico desert. The explosion was massive and the equivalent to 18,000 tons of TNT. This bomb would change the world and could cause mass destruction and death. By this time, Germany had already surrendered and World War II in Europe was over. Japan was defeated as well, but would not surrender. The US was contemplating an invasion of Japan. Army leaders figured that anywhere from 500,000 to 1 million US and Allied soldiers would die in an invasion. You being President Truman decide to use the atom bombs in an effort to bring about Japan’s surrender in the Second World War. You know that Japan would not surrender easily thus devise a plan for the attack. On August 6, 1945 an atomic bomb named Little Boy is on board Enola Gay which was piloted by Colonel Paul Tibbetts. Months of surveillance and reconnaissance operations, have led to the creation of a dataset, which is used to predict which city should be the target, given the constraints. Three cities are chosen as potential targets-1. Yokohama, 2. Hiroshima, 3. Kyoto. You are provided with the dataset having all features. Your task is to predict which city should be targeted. The fate of the world is in your hands. Make your choices carefully. -train.csv is the training set -test.csv is the test set to submit your predictions -sample_submission.csv provides the format for submission.
