Competitive data is basically data on hotels' rates and room availabilities for the considered OTAs.</p>\n<p>3. It is important for Expedia because users can easily compare prices and room availabilities across different OTAs. We released this data because we want to understand to which extend the differences in prices and room availabilities across OTAs affect Expedia users behavior.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
