Nevertheless, I'll have a go at it:
\n
First, take a look at this Stackoverflow post. Apart from the awesome-ness all around, you might find that a few things stand out. There is the Title (in this case "The Python yield keyword explained"), there is the Body of the post, which is the user trying to explain the problem at hand. More importantly, for us, there are the Tags! You can see the words python, iterator, generator, and yield below the body.
\n
So how does StackOverflow have these tags? Well, right now, the amazing community that is StackOverflow tags the content manually. The challenge here is to see if you can make your computer do it.
\n
Kaggle has provided a data set with (each line of the Train.csv file containing) some text and the categories associated with the text. They have also given another very similar file with some text, but have removed the categories (each line of the Train.csv).
\n
Now a participant has to write some code that will understand how to do this by looking at the Train(ing set) and then fill in the blanks for the Test set.
\n
Have a look at the sample csv submission file, this is what happens when your computer decides to be lazy and predicts every post to have the tags "javascript c# python php java". Can you make your code smarter?
",
