      "content": "<p>Hi chandar, </p>\n\n<p>I wrote this time series starting kernel using ETS model (Error, Trend, Seasonality) for folks to begin with: <br>\n<a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/dongxu027/time-series-ets-starter-lb-0-590\">https://www.kaggle.com/dongxu027/time-series-ets-starter-lb-0-590</a>    </p>\n\n<p>It's one of basic models and the kernel is generic to extend to other models (e.g. ARIMA, NN).  Once you know how to generate an end-to-end result pipeline, you can add in more with EDA or play with other features. At least that's my preferred approach.</p>\n\n<p>Another good source is here about this textbook: <br>\n<a href=\"https://www.otexts.org/fpp\">https://www.otexts.org/fpp</a> <br>\n(it combines hands-on codes and practical meanings, with just enough theory to go with)   </p>",
