"content": "<p>Hi Friends,\nI ran a multi regression model to predict transaction revenue and found one of the insignificant variables as \"isMobile\". I have two questions\n1) I removed \"isMobile\" variable and ran the model again and found RMSE error is slightly more than the model where the variable is included. any reason behind this?\n2)From business aspect, From my past experience Mobile / Desktop indeed has an impact on user purchase decision or transaction revenue. Ryt? then why \"isMobile\" variable is coming insignificant?\nKindly clarify/let me know if u r facing similar issue\nThanks in advance</p>",

"content": "<p>In Google Analytics, 'isMobile' is mentioned as deprecated. The information can be found in fact in 'deviceCategory' with the values 'tablet' and 'mobile' considered as mobile.\nIn the dataset, some isMobile values are wrong, for example 249 sessions are desktop/isMobile so it's better to trust deviceCategory. I think the fact that RMSE is slightly worse without isMobile is not significant.</p>",
