"content": "
Hi, Vivek! I am not using Detectron2 but I am trying to use MMDetection without the Internet. In my setting, I want to train models in local environment, and upload the checkpoint for inference. So, the notebook will be no Internet connecting but with some extra self-upload datasets.
\n\n
First, I followed this blog to install python dependences. In this step, I installed the
whl
files to my computer and uploaded these files as a new dataset. Second, I uploaded
cocoapi
and
mmdetection
libraries as same as the first step. Third, I add these datasets from step 1 and step 2 to the inference notebooks and complied for the libraries. Fourth, I also uploaded some scripts which help to integrated the
Global Wheat Detection
dataset in the MMDetection framework. Finally, I uploaded the pertained model.
\n\n
There is something I should mention. First, I copy the
cocoapi
and
mmdetection
to
/kaggle/working
diretory for installing because the input directory is read-only, and I need to make some changes in the framework.\nSecond, there are still many file operations in order to make these step go will, but I think you can figure it out. Third, in this notebook, I should compile the libraries every time I want to get the final output, so it is time-consuming. Finally, I ran the inference correctly, and get the right output. But there is no commit button to competition, and I am still struggling!!!
\n\n
This is my first time to kaggle competition, so if I got something wrong, PLEASE correct me as soon as possible.
",
