The competition will be over in 7 days, but we still haven't received any valid reply from the official regarding the results submitted for inspection, except for Kaggle will contact the top teams on the private leaderboard and they will be required to demonstrate that their solution is compliant with the Competition Rules. which is far not enough (if there's more detail i missed, plz tell me).

In the current situation, most top leaderboard submissions are not compliant.If only top \nteams will be checked, there will be lots of team using yolov5 get an medal too.Which also means lots of team who obey the rules will waste their time and efforts.

I agree there is an incentive to do wrong, for a medal, and a deincentive to do right, dont want to play against people who may use yolov5.

No one is allowed to use YoloV5, whether just going for medals or going for cash prize. I am sure they will do something to detect the cheaters that do use it. Why aren't they telling us exactly how? Because the cheaters will just use this to their advantage to obfuscate their code and make it appear mundane. We have to put our faith into Kaggle and the compliance team, they are aware this is a problem and are likely doing their best to correct for it.
