Although our team did not achieve great scores, but there's much to learn! So I decided to look through some kernels and do late-submissions. I have the following questions due to the sensitivity of this competition:

  1. Am I allowed to do late submissions (I think yes but just want confirmation as this is kinda my first serious comp).

    2. \n

  2. Am I allowed to use YOLOV5 subs in late submissions just to check if it works better than other models since the competition is over. Note that YOLOV5 is strictly not allowed before the comp ends. So since it has ended, are we able to experiment with it?

Late submissions have no restrictions for what models you can and cannot submit. They are simply here to give you feedback on how your models could've/would've performed to improve for next competition. They also don't count for anything.

Good questions. I agree with @stanleyjzheng , you should be fine to use whatever approach you'd like in the late submissions. And yes, they are open now that the LB has been finalized.
