      "content": "<p>Might be a stupid question: Do the Kenpom AdjEM ratings from 2019 (or earlier) only include the season games or do they also include the tournament games? Their performance in predicting the tournament compared to other metrics is quite good. That would be not such great news if they already include the championship games.</p>",

      "content": "<p>Yeah my understanding is that the publicly available ones from previous years are as of the very end of the tournament, so they do reflect the tournament games already.  If you were using them at the time, then you could have grabbed the pre-tournament ones at the time, but I don't think those are publicly available.  We do have all the Massey Ordinals from history back to 2003, including the KenPom ones, and the rankings for DayNum=133 are always pre-tournament, but those are only ordinals (#1, #2, ..., #351) rather than all the numbers that KenPom gives you.</p>",

      "content": "<p>Thanks for the replies! I checked in the GitHub repository. The 2019 data is pre-tournament. The other seasons and the data on the public kenpom website is post-tournament. So my 0.45 logloss for 2019 could have been realistic.</p>",
