# Great Energy Predictor Shootout I — Data

We're rehosting the original dataset largely without changes. See the read.me and rules files for the original data descriptions.  Please do not try sending away for floppy disks.

The one exception is that I have excluded the answer files so we can still have a leaderboard. To generate a valid submission: 
- make your predictions for both A and B in a column called `target`
- concatenate the two tables together (ie `pd.concat([A, B])`)
- add a column of the row numbers (starting at zero) called `row_num`

Since this competition is purely for fun unusual approaches are strongly encouraged. Consider limiting yourself to techniques available at the time. The SVM paper was only published one year before!
