*The Competition named below is a skills-based competition to promote synthetic-to-real object detection. You must register via Kaggle to enter. By participating, you agree to these Rules and confirm your Submissions comply with all requirements.*

**You cannot sign up to Kaggle from multiple accounts and therefore you cannot enter or submit from multiple accounts.**

- Real-world test data is strictly for competition evaluation

a. Maximum team size: **5 members**  

#### 2. SUBMISSION LIMITS
a. **3 submissions/day** during validation phase  
b. **3 final submissions** for private leaderboard scoring

#### 4. COMPETITION DATA
a. **Synthetic Data**:  
   - May be used only for competition participation  

b. **Real-World Test Data**:  
   - Strictly for generating competition submissions  (excluding the real-world images GIVEN in the data validation folder)
   - Reverse engineering not allowed  

c. **Real world Training data**
   - Not allowed for training 

d  **Real world data for Validation**
   - You may use only the provided real world validation data present in the val folder in the "Data" tab


#### 6. EXTERNAL DATA & TOOLS
a. **Allowed**:   
   - Pre-trained Object Detection models  
   - Falcon-generated synthetic data  

b. **Prohibited**:  
   - Proprietary datasets requiring paid licenses  
   - Public datasets 
   - Manually labeled test data  
   - Pseudo Labelling

#### 7. FALCON SYNTHETIC DATA
a. Participants will **need** to generate synthetic data using [Duality AI's FalconCloud](https://falcon.duality.ai/secure/scenarios/edit/7c5b51d0-553c-4bd3-9566-73723bbc43a5?utm_source=kaggle&utm_medium=kaggle_competition&utm_campaign=competition_fk1)  

b. Falcon-generated data must be:  
   - Shared publicly on Kaggle Discussions if used in submissions or on Community Discord  
   - Created using free-EDU tier accounts 

#### 8. ELIGIBILITY
a. Duality AI/Kaggle employees may participate but cannot win prizes  
b. Participants must have legal right to use all submitted data
