Speaking again about cheating, I think the problem with the Kaggle system right now is that there is no deterrent factor that prevents a cheater from starting again. I mean: you remove a cheater from one ompetition, he'll say \"OK I'll continue with other competitions\" (all this, penalising his potential teammates in other competitions).
\n\nI think Kaggle needs to set up a system of malus points that increases after each cheating and with a critical level not to exceed. Otherwise he/she risks a temporary ban on participating in competitions and if he/she continues after that, then a permanent ban.

If the ban is not related to the competition (cheating , multiple accounts inside the competition etc.) , I don't think they will be removed. (He has also a team on Toxic competition , it would be harsh for its teamates to be removed after 3 months competition and near the end of the LB validation because of something not related to the competition )

I know that feeling too ;) (I was even removed because of a teamate who told us he wasn't using multiple accounts when we asked him before merging but he was lying )\nHowever and as harsh as it is, such behavior violated clearly stated rules in any competition.\n I don't think it's the case here. (Otherwise kaggle should remove all his competitions since he started doing this). But let's wait and see as you said.
